Former Amiya Residence

The former Amiya Residence is the birthplace of Manzo Nagano, who was born into a family that owned a kappo restaurant and ryokan. He later migrated to Canada and was the first Japanese immigrant to Canada, where he made a fortune making salted and canned salmon.
