This observatory offers a panoramic view over the townʼ s main attractions: Mejima Island, Mt. Iwado, Mt. Atago, Mt. Fuji and the Hayasaki Peninsula. It also allows you to observe the process of volcanic eruptions that occurred at the southern tip of the Shimabara Peninsula from around 4.3 million to 1.5 million years ago.
