Located at the gateway to Minamishimabara City, this roadside station offers a scenic view of of Japanʼs newest mountain, Mt. Heisei Shinzan, in all its glory. Nearby, youʼll find the Memorial Park of Houses Destroyed by Debris Flow, which preserves and exhibits some of the houses damaged in the debris flow disaster caused by the Mt. Unzen-Fugendake eruption.
